DASMA has three kinds of members: Active Members, Associate Members, and Professional Members affiliated with our Rolling Door Division.

To
be eligible to join the ACTIVE MEMBERS
of the Commercial & Residential Garage Door
Division, High Performance Door Division, Operator
& Electronics Division, or Rolling Door Division,
your company must be a business entity, or a division
or subsidiary of a corporation, that:
- Has a regularly established place of business.
- Has financial responsibility sufficient to carry on the business.
- Is engaged, as its primary business,
in the manufacture of garage doors, high performance
doors, rolling doors, fire doors, grilles, counter
shutters, or sheet doors, or of garage door
or gate operators or of remote controls for
garage door or gate operators.
- Is a manufacturer. An entity is considered to be a manufacturer of a designated finished product if it designs, manufactures, and assembles components into the designated finished product. Mere assembly of components purchased from others, without significant value-added design and manufacturing, will not make an entity a manufacturer.

When you are accepted into DASMA membership, your company will automatically be a member of the division(s) for which your company qualifies.

To be eligible to join the ASSOCIATES DIVISION, your company must be a business entity, or a division or subsidiary of a corporation, that:
- Is not eligible to be an Active Member in DASMA.
- Has a regularly established place of business.
- Has financial responsibility sufficient to carry on the business.
- Is a manufacturer or supplier of
raw materials or significant components used
in the manufacture of garage doors, high performance
doors, rolling doors, fire doors, grilles, or
counter shutters, or sheet doors, or garage
door or gate operators, or remote controls for
garage door or gate operators.

To be eligible to join the PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS of the Rolling Door Division, your company must be:
- A testing laboratory or other professional industry expert.
- Not eligible for Active or Associate Membership in DASMA.
