Starting in January, EPA inspectors began surprising renovation firms with inspections of their lead-safe practices, slapping some big fines on violators.

Rubber TrackOn June 23, D&AS editor Tom Wadsworth passed the exam to become the industry's first Certified Door Dealer Consultant under the new 2011 IDEA program. The program, launched on June 1, is designed for manufacturer sales reps and other key industry suppliers.
